History:
Resolute was one of two 120-ton 90-foot schooners built for the Service by J. W. Lynn of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the other being the Active. They were among the last strictly sail-powered cutters built for the Service.
Resolute was stationed at Key West, Florida during her service, which began in July of 1867. She was sold in Philadelphia on 10 February 1872.
