Cutter History:

The Crawford was built in New York and her construction was superintended by Captain A. Champlain.  She arrived at Savannah, Georgia, on 19 February 1822.  She apparently served in Georgia waters until she was lost off St. Mary's, Georgia, on 27 March 1829.
