Lotus, 1907


An aquatic plant native to southern Asia, Nelumbo nucifera, with large leaves, fragrant pinkish flowers, and a broad rounded perforated seed pod.


History:

The second Lotus was a steam launch that saw service in the 11th Lighthouse District.  She was in service from 1907 until 1923.
