Original caption: "Pictured in flight over San Juan, Puerto Rico, this twin-engined monoplane amphibian is designed for rescue, transport and general utility use. It carries a crew of four, and has accommodations for 12 passengers, or 12 litter cases as a rescue or ambulance aircraft. Planes of this type are based at Coast Guard air stations throughout the United States, and are particularly valuable in off-shore operations.
