Keeper Manuel Ferreira, USLHS (& USCG) with his family
Hawaiian native Manuel Ferreira served as the keeper of seven lighthouses during his career, which began in 1908 and ended in 1946. He was known as one of the “grand old men of Hawaiian lighthouse lore."
