First High Endurance Cutter in Twenty Years (1965)

An article providing a detailed overview of the "new" 378-foot HAMILTON Class High Endurance Cutters. It was written by LCDR Hubert E. Russell, USCG, commanding the RIO in New Orleans that oversaw their construction at Avondale Shipyards in New Orleans. Approved for publication on 4 June 1965.
